Welcome to Harlequin Musical Theatre's 2026 season of Blood Brothers.
Blood Brothers is a musical with book, lyrics, and music by Willy Russell. The story follows fraternal twins Mickey and Edward, who are separated at birth. One is raised in a wealthy family, and the other with their paternal mother in poverty. We witness them finding each other and developing a friendship; they discover they were born on the same day, so they become “Blood Brothers,” but we witness the unraveling of this kinship, a mother who is seated in distrust and insecurity, and a mother just trying to keep the pieces together. It becomes a question of nature versus nurture, the haves and have-nots.
